Favorite created collage
The image is from KC's collection
and is nicknamed Josey
We learned how to hand tint our
transfer images and this is my
first go at it.
The 1941 Arizona silver pin
use to be my fathers.
I have kept it for years
and now it seems to have found
the most perfect place.
I have placed some dried flowers
like the ones I saw in Colorado
in the material pocket.
I have not named it yet ~
any suggestions?
I'm all ears..

Katie-girl,
I am so impressed with "Josie," just as I knew I would. You are quite and artist and one of my most favorite people in blogland, of course. I adore the hand tinting and the dried flowers and think you are such a great artist.
Sending love and hugs,
Suz

This is wonderful artwork! Josie is a super image and she looks great hand tinted. I've sat here trying to think of a name for this piece and my mind has gone a total blank :o(
So glad you enjoyed your time in Colorado.
xx
Your Josey looks extra sweet with your touches of color!
AND I think your father's pin fits so beautifully on this piece...you will always know exactly where it is...just so special!
Happy weekend to you and yours dear one!

Katie your collage is fabulous, the hand tinting is so cool!, as for a name Josie seems to fit her well.
Maybe "Josie the fairest Desert flower" just a thought. LOL
Love the chauffeur badge, such a perfect finishing touch!

I try hard not to have regrets, but I do so wish that my youngest daughter could get to know you. I believe that Kat would love you just as I do. It thrills me that you continue to create AND that you have such a wonderful impact on your students. Love you, Deb
Hi Katie,
Your finished pieces turned out really beautiful. Unfortunately, my book remains the same, unfinished. I read it was your 30 year anniversary, congrats. Much love. Sheryl
