Book Shrine ~ *
First I found an old beyond salvage book
Next I glued edges together and hollowed out a space
to frame the assemblage pieces that I will add to it.
I am using the cut out cover piece for a hanger too!
Almost done ~ still some tweaking needing to be done!
I should finish and post pictures soon!

How adorable! Love what you have done here. I've cut sections out of the cover of old books then cut deep section out of the book pages and used them as shadow boxes. I loved the cover of this one. So distressed and aged. Perfect!
Ooooh, my grand daughter and I are just starting to alter books and so we love to see what others have done with theirs. This is stunning and great inspiration for us. Thanks for sharing what you did. :O)

That is just beautiful!!! Love it so much. You make it look so easy and I would probably cut my arm off! What do you cut that section out with?
